Meditation can be simple and you can add meditation in your daily life with little effort. Even though our lives are so full we don’t think we can add another thing to do, all it takes is shifting your awareness.

“The flowering of love is meditation.” Jiddu Krishnamurti.

It might mean taking a few moments out of their day to listen to music they love or humming a tune. Others like to take a moment to stare at a cloud formation or watch a bee settle into a flower.  All those experiences are a form of meditation and each experience means something different to each individual.

“Meditation is the tongue of the soul and the language of our spirit.” Jeremy Taylor

“It takes a little time to create a gap between the witness and the mind.  Once the gap is there, you are in for a great surprise, that you are not the mind, that you are the witness,  A watcher.”  Osho

Giving ourselves peaceful moments, allows our mind and body to reboot. We sometimes find that we can concentrate better and face the challenges of daily life more prepared.

Daily meditation routines comes in many forms ranging from listening to a guided meditation for 10 – 20 minutes to formal yoga meditations with chanting in a group setting.  Simple breathing techniques allow the brain to receive oxygen to replenish its tired cells.  Listening to tones such as chimes, your own singing voice, or even to Tibetan bowls have healing affects as well.
